A German company plans to replace jobs with artificial intelligence

One of Germany’s most popular online fashion shops is planning to cut between 200-250 jobs previously occupied by people with algorithms and AI.

The most important jobs to be affected by the Berlin-based retailer, Teslando or Zelando, are sales and advertising. The products will be designed and marketed with the help of the algorithm, a series of mathematical and logical steps to solve a problem, Restructuring of the marketing department.

The e-commerce giant employs 15,000 people worldwide, including 6,000 in Germany, the website said.

The algorithm is a set of mathematical steps invented in the ninth century by the world Abu Jaafar Muhammad ibn Musa al-Khwarizmi.
